Rodeo & Western themes are back in a big way – updated country cool styling, reworked checkered prints, stud detail, authentic leathers and rodeo hats are key elements to achieve this look, and a big trend seen in a few of the catwalk collections

 

Designers capturing this Americana aesthetic effortlessly include Astrid Andersen, Ernest W. Baker and Dsquared.

 

As seen below, Astrid Andersen showcased wide brim hats with exaggerated sides, in a more traditional rodeo-inspired approach.

 

Ernest W. Baker followed suit in the traditional approach, with wide brim exaggerated styling being key.

 

Dsquared opted for an obvious Rodeo-kitsch look with apparel & accessories during their runway show, however their rodeo hats were destyled and had more of a country feel, with wide-brimmed soft-handle hats in a slouchier, relaxed fit.
