Best Of Mens AW18/19 Collections – Equipment Tags

 

One of my favourite AW18/19 forecast mens trends is the inclusion of clip-on accessories – lanyards, tags, keyrings, keychains and equipment tags. Not only is this a functional and practical accessory addition to belts, pants & bags, but also serves as an additional branding opportunity for slogans, logo’s and brand names.

 

Some of my favourite runway looks are below, with designers such as Louis Vuitton, MSGM, Cottweiler, Etudes, Palm Angels, N21 & Kenzo showcasing their interpretations of this must-have mens trend.

 

Louis Vuitton’s key looks included highlighter neon orange carabiner clip necklaces with multi-tool attachments and neon yellow luggage tags fastened to pant loops.

 

MSGM had a functional approach with keyrings & keytags clipped onto pant loops, giving a sense of office/admin practicality.

 

Cottweiler showcased a beautiful, frosty aesthetic with metallic carabiner clips encrusted in calcifications, layered onto body belts & mini bags.

 

 

In true Kenzo form, the brand offered a playful, colour-fueled interpretation with belt tags & female-inspired lipstick cases reinvented as a mini coin pouch, dangling off of belts and pant loops.
